Well, today is the day I’m officially launching www.integratePR.com.  This business concept has been in my head for about a year and after many bruises and incredibly valuable lessons, I am excited to see it all finessing into place.

integratePR is a consulting and freelance firm that helps companies of all sizes integrate emerging facets of the “new” PR.  Today we are facing a completely different media and communication landscape that most practitioners do not know and are not comfortable with; and honestly, it is scary as hell to jump into.   A consultant can come in, train your company, help to develop goals, teach a different way of thinking strategically, explain the new communication and social media tools available, while most importantly increasing revenue and sustaining the company’s business model and company culture.

My favorite moments in the working world, as well as most challenging, are when I have taught new people or companies about digital media and helped them to incorporate this direct-to-consumer communication into their business strategy and tactics, and found the result to be more effective than traditional media.

integratePR, also dubbed iPR, will teach people and companies that this seemingly scary, overwhelming, intimidating world of social and digital media public relations really is very approachable if handled correctly and delicately.

It’s going to be a bumpy ride but I look forward to sharing it with you all.
